Stock levels and stock changes
Recording deliveries, checking alert levels and spotting negative stock.
EPOS > Stock Levels / Stock Changes
- 1
Check stock levels
EPOS > Stock Levels lists each item with its current Stock Level and Stock Alert Level, grouped as 'Category > Item'.
- 2
Record a delivery
Use Add Stock Change on the item's row, enter the quantity received and save. Use List Stock Changes to see that item's history.
- 3
Bulk view
EPOS > Stock Changes shows every adjustment made across the centre with the item, date and quantity. Create EPOS Stock Change adds one from scratch.
- 4
Export
Download on the Stock Levels page gives you a spreadsheet for stock takes.
Watch out for
- A negative stock level means sales were recorded without the deliveries being entered. Correct it with a stock change rather than ignoring it.
- Items below their Stock Alert Level are the ones to reorder.
