Reading the Dashboard
What Funds Taken and Funds Realised mean, and how to change the date range.
Dashboard
- 1
Pick a period
Use the Today, Current week and Current month buttons at the top. The date line underneath always shows the exact range being counted, e.g. 'Thursday, 20 August 2026 - Thursday, 20 August 2026'.
- 2
Choose a custom range
Click the date range itself to open the picker and select any start and end date — useful for comparing a half term with the same week last year.
- 3
Funds Taken
Money actually received in the period — card, cash and terminal payments taken between those dates, whatever they were for.
- 4
Funds Realised
Money earned in the period — the value of sessions, parties and EPOS orders that took place between those dates, even if a deposit was paid weeks earlier.
- 5
When the two differ
A big gap normally means deposits. Party deposits show as Taken on the day they are paid and as Realised on the party date. This is expected, not an error.
